Whereas, Rutgers University has students, staff, faculty, alumni and administrators who serve or have served in the military. Whereas, The University College Council recently passed a Resolution to deem April 4th as Rutgers University Student Veterans' Day. Whereas, The University College Community honors student veterans each April with a Veterans' Appreciation Reception. Be it hereby resolved: To show our support for RU Veterans, the University College Rutgers New Brunswick Alumni Association (UCRNBAA) recommends Rutgers University deem April 4th as both the: Official Rutgers University Student Veterans' Day. and the Official Rutgers University Veterans' Appreciation Day.
